Amir has lived in Tokyo for many years and specialises in recruiting attorneys for private practice and in-house opportunities in Japan.

With significant market-relevant experience, both as a recruiter and also as a lawyer, Amir has in depth knowledge of the unique challenges faced by lawyers, law firms and corporations in Tokyo. With over 5 years recruitment experience in Japan, Amir has successfully completed many successful recruitment campaigns in Tokyo and is able to assist with the search and placement of both Bengoshi and Gaiben.

Living and recruiting in Tokyo has given Amir a clear understanding of this small and sensitive market and he is acutely aware of the importance of confidentiality, trust, reliability and professionalism. With this in mind, Amir regularly works with our clients to assist them in determining which candidate will best fill their requirements. In addition, he frequently consults with lawyers – junior through to partner level - providing valuable advice in relation to their career paths and options.

Prior to beginning his career in recruitment, Amir received a law degree from Queen Mary College London University in England and was admitted as a Solicitor in England & Wales.
