James Garzon - Director and Country Manager

James has in-depth experience in all facets of the search and selection of legal professionals in private practice and in-house. His focus is recruitment for law firms in Hong Kong, Japan and The Peoples Republic of China.

James acts for the leading international firms in the region which include pre-eminent American firms, the UK Magic Circle and City firms, Top Tier Australian firms and highly regarded regional firms. Through Law Alliance, James has developed close relationships with these firms and ensures that he is regularly updated as to their performance in the global market as well as their growth strategies in the North Asia region. This knowledge coupled with his understanding of the regions economic climate assists him in identifying and matching the most suitable candidates to his clients' needs.

James is also engaged in the recruitment of executives to professional services firms such as marketing directors, human resource directors, chief financial officers, general managers and chief executive officers.

James was educated in Australia and holds a Bachelor of Arts (Asian Economic Development), Bachelor of Accounting and a Bachelor of Laws. Prior to legal recruitment James had an accomplished career as a solicitor in the litigation team of a leading Australian firm.
