This is an outstanding opportunity for a top tier lawyer to join a global investment bank in a newly created role. The firm Our client is a recognized leader in the investment banking world. Acting for the top corporates both in Asia and globally, this premier institution continues to rapidly expand throughout the region, particularly in the PRC and with significant new interests in India. The Opportunity Working within an established and well respected team, this newly created appointment will suit either a banking and finance lawyer or a corporate lawyer with high quality transactional experience in either area to cover the firm's proprietary investments in the region. Your role will be to advise the firm on its principal investments generally, supporting the distressed debt team, the private equity team investing in unlisted shares, the team investing on listed equity, on structured investments positions and the team investing in loans and trading. The Requirements To be considered for this role, you will likely have a depth of experience transactional experience, which may include any or all of the following: private equity, general banking and finance, project finance or M&A, having gained this from an international law firm or top investment bank. You should have a stable career background, strong academics and seeking a fresh challenge.
