The Business

Our client is a newly established private equity fund house based in Hong Kong with a primary focus in real estate investments throughout the Greater China region.

The company has established a strong team of highly skilled professionals who are well versed in all aspects of the fund and real estate investment management industry.

The Opportunity

A unique opportunity now exists within this company for a mid to senior level lawyer who is eager to work closely with the business and take on a more commercial focused role within this booming industry. Working closely with the CEO and senior management, you will be involved in a broad range of work from structuring and management of transactions, new fund products, to product development.

As part of the transaction management team, your role will be highly autonomous and business oriented requiring you to be self driven and resourceful. As some of the deals may be highly complex my client is looking for someone that not only has strong technical skills, but the ability to understand the commercial goal of the deal.

You will play a key part in the company’s development by assisting to strengthen the company’s in-house legal and compliance functions.

The Requirements

As a senior lawyer with at least 4 yrs PQE, you will ideally have solid experience in private equity and transaction management gained in private practice, investment bank, or other asset management house. Those with a corporate finance background are also encouraged to apply.
Vital for this role is an individual who has great interpersonal skills and the ability to drive the legal process to meet the company’s objectives.
