Our client is a fast developing telecoms company in the Middle East providing mobile & broadband services with plans for further growth in the region through the acquisition of other telecoms companies. It is backed by a leading Middle East telecoms company and strong European investors.

The Opportunity
This is an exceptional opportunity for a senior lawyer to join a fast growing mobile and broadband operator as General Counsel. The role will predominantly consist of contractual commercial work, but will also include litigation matters, liaising with the telecoms regulator and growing and overseeing a small legal team. This outstanding opening also includes a decision making role on the company’s executive committee.

The Requirements
Our client is seeking a senior in-house or private practice lawyer with strong mobile telecoms experience, preferably in a highly regulated non-European environment. Strong negotiation skills are essential and management experience is a plus.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years PQE.
